Levelquik Concrete Floor Leveler Instructions

A level floor is important when laying tile or other floor coverings.

Levelquik is masonry product for leveling uneven floor surfaces. Direct foot traffic is not preferable for this product, as it will scratch and wear easily once it cures fully. In most all applications, Levelquik works to level concrete slabs. You can lay the product over wooden floors if the wood-framing underneath is strong enough to support the final weight. Levelquik comes in 50-lb. bags and will cover a 45-square-foot area when laid to a thickness of 1/8-inch.

Instructions

1. Clean the floor surface to remove all dirt, dust and oil residue.

2. Apply the Levelquik primer with the paintbrush two hours before mixing and spreading the Levelquik floor underlayment product.

3. Insert the paddle mixer into the drill chuck. Tighten the paddle mixer into the chuck.

4. Pour 6-1/2 quarts of clean, cool water into the large plastic trashcan. Start the drill motor. Immerse the paddle into the water. Begin stirring the water.

5. Add the 50 lb. bag of Levelquik powder slowly into the container while continually mixing the product.

6. Mix until you've added the entire bag to the container and the mixture reaches a lump-free consistency.

7. Pour the contents over the area you need to level. Allow the product to set and self-level for 10 minutes. Use the hand trowel to feather the edges of the material, if necessary.
