Hilti is a company that provides products and services for the global construction industry. The company was founded in 1941 by Martin Hilti in Liechtenstein. The Hilti SD 4500 screw gun has a power rating of 740 W, a voltage rating of 120, and a current rating of 6.5 A. The frequency rating is 60 Hz and it has a maximum speed rating of 4500 rpm. The maximum torque of the engine has been measured at 9.5 Nm or 84 inches per pound.
Size, Control, and Chuck Specifications
The chuck of the SD 4500 measures 1/4 inch and the weight of the tool is 3.1 lbs. It is 11.4 inches long, 2.9 inches wide, and 6.3 inches tall. The speed is controlled by an electronic switch, and the forward and reverse switches are installed with interlocks. It was made with a mechanical not-type clutch and it has a vibration-absorbing grip.

The SD 4500 comes with a belt hook, two types of depth gauges, a bit and bit holder, a magazine, and an extension. The depth gauges differ in the size of the bit holder---one has a 2 inch, the other has a 3 inch. It comes with two bit holders: the S-BH 75 M and S-BH 50 M model. It uses PH2, SQ, and TX bits. The magazine is a SMI 55 plus. The SME extension was included to help with floor and ceiling work.
