A cultipacker has many uses. It will remove dirt clumps from soil, eliminate soil air pockets and form a smooth and firm seed bed for plantings. The cultipacker contains many different sections that will form valleys and peaks in the soil. The valleys act as small reservoirs and collect water specifically in the spots where you will place the seeds. Cultipackers are pulled behind tractors and are easy to use. The most difficult part is assembling the cultipacker.
Instructions
1. Install the cultipacker behind your tractor or riding lawnmower. You can pull cultipackers behind vehicles and you can use them on different types of vehicles. They will differ depending on the type of cultipackers you use.
2. Lift the cultipacker off the ground with a winch. If the cultipacker does not have a winch, that means you use one side for transport and the other for working the soil. Flip the cultipacker over until it is on the transportation side. Fold up other types of cultipackers off the ground.
3. Lower the cultipacker so it sits on the ground. Flip it over to the correct side or fold the cultipacker down into position. Slowly move over the area, pulling the cultipacker behind the tractor. The movement causes the cultipacker to break up the soil and create seed beds.
