Vail, Colorado, is one of America's premier ski resorts. However, the town has plenty of other activities for outdoor adventures during all seasons of the year. The town has several notable cultural destinations, including the Colorado Ski Museum and Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. Vail also hosts two annual cultural events, the Vail Film Festival and Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival.
Tiger Run RV Resort
The Tiger Run RV Resort is in the neighboring town of Breckenridge, Colorado. Located in the Rocky Mountains, resort amenities include outdoor basketball and volleyball courts, an indoor pool and hot tub. A pathway connects the towns of Breckenridge and Vail. In addition to RV space, the resort also has cabins for rent.
River Dance RV Resort
The River Dance RV Resort is located off Interstate 70 and is west of Vail in Gypsum, Colorado. The resort provides free Wi-Fi, a dumping service, private shower facilities and a pet enclosure. During the summer, guests can buy cinnamon rolls and the daily newspaper for $5.
Sylvan Lake State Park
Sylvan Lake State Park, located in Eagle, Colorado, has over 44 campsites, all of which are RV-accessible. The park offers outdoor activities, including biking, hiking, whitewater rafting and cross country skiing.
