Drywall is a material commonly used for walls in homes and office buildings. Though quite durable, there is a limited amount of abuse drywall can take. If your drywall is littered with pockmarks, you will need to fill them in with a basic drywall compound. The repair is a simple one and will completely eliminate that pockmarks.
Instructions
1. Run the edge of a putty knife over the pockmarks to remove any loose paint or drywall.
2. Scoop up a small amount of drywall compound with a putty knife, and then draw the knife and putty across one of the pockmarks. Repeat this process for the remaining tiny depressions in the drywall.
3. Pull the putty knife across the filled pockmarks to remove any excess compound.
4. Allow the compound to dry for at least 24 hours, and then go over the repairs with fine sandpaper until the wall is smooth to the touch. If you need to repaint the wall, prime the repairs first.
